Adventure is in my blood. I love it. I am willing to sign up for just about anything. There are very few things that I wouldn’t do even though 9 times out of 10 I’m terrified out of my mind to do them. Like when I went sky diving in Tuskegee, Alabama. The first 10 seconds out of the plane, I hated my life. But, I still did, without hesitation.
We went snuba diving in Destin, Florida. It might be the only time I’ve stopped dead in my tracks and so much hesitation that had to mentally calm myself down. The water began to get darker and darker as we descended. Deep and dark don’t really go together well for me, but I was able to calm myself down and move forward.
Being that far underwater was a very strange feeling. Peace and terrifying. Dan’s convinced we should get out diving certification. I agree, but I think I’ll stick to diving in water that doesn’t get to murky.
Do you have any crazy fears? Have you been able to over come them?
